T H R E E
We have surpassed the three month mark! This little boy has only been a part of our family for three months but let's face it, it feels like he has always been part of the crew. I suppose he's got a natural way of just fitting in. And he's so stinkin' cute, so that definitely helps.
Over this past month, we've really started to see Linden's personality come to life. When he hears crying, he joins in. When he sees someone smiling, he flashes his big grin. And still my favorite part, when he sees my face, he kicks and pumps his arms out of excitement.
Little boy, you have stolen my heart.

THIS MONTH:
EAT
Linden is a great little eater. He's down to nursing six times a day for about 8-10 minutes which has been way better than the frequency he used to eat at. On the weekends when he's home with me, he'll follow the schedule of 5am, 7:30am, 10:30am, 1:30pm, 5pm and 6pm. Some days will fluctuate depending on what we're doing, but he stays pretty consistent.
SLEEP
Ever since our 2 month visit with his doctor, this little boy has been dreaming the whole night through. Yep, you read that right! His doctor advised that we let him sleep in his own room to see if he'd sleep longer, and she was right.
Our bedtime routine is to eat at 5pm, bath at 5:45pm, eat again at 6pm and down to bed right after. From there, he sleeps until 5am-ish. I don't like waking up at 5am, but I'll take that over getting up once or twice throughout the night.
He'll take about three 45 minute naps throughout the day and one long nap that will last a couple of hours.

PLAY
I love watching this little boy play. He gets so fascinated by his toys that he will stare at them and then flash a smile. Other times, he just squawks and talks to them.
He still loves looking and batting at his toys hanging from his floor gym. Once he grabs onto one he holds on and won't let go.
This past month we put him in a saucer (with a little extra padding for support) and he played like he'd been doing it for months. Conner will give him some trains while he sits in the saucer and Linden will push them around and grab at them.
When you place him on his back he will quickly roll to his side. He figured out how to roll front to back last month, but even though he can roll from his back to side, he can't quite figure out how to make it the rest of the way onto his belly. Yet. :)
Linden boy, you have already transformed so much in the past three months. From a little newborn just learning his surroundings to smiling, rolling and playing, you just keep taking on the world every day.
Not only have you stolen our hearts, but you make thinking about life without you impossible. You are such a blessing to our family.
