Linden boy had his two month checkup with his doctor this week. He made sure to show off his cute smile for majority of the time until it was time for vaccinations. Then it was game over, but we were expecting that.
Overall, his health and progress is excellent.
His doctor asked how he does at night, and I proudly chimed up that he only gets up between 1 and 1:30am and again around 5am. I expected to hear the doctor follow up with how good it is that he only gets up once, but I was wrong! She let me know that at his weight I should start letting him go longer at night and that most the time, moms will hear their babies stirring and feed them instead of seeing if they'll fall back asleep. She had just described me to a T. I'm so guilty of hearing him stir and just getting up and feeding him.
We decided it was best to move him into his own room to help the both of us sleep better through the night. And you guys, the past two nights have been amazing!
The first night he slept 8 hours in between feedings and last night he went a total of 9.5 hours! I haven't felt this refreshed in the morning in a long time!
Let just hope he carries this new sleeping skill on from here forward!
